VALIDITY OF VISA

PERIOD OF STAY

MEANING

The period during which a visa can be used to enter Thailand.

  • Example A: A single-entry Tourist visa and Non-Immigrant visa usually have a validity of 3 months (90-Days) from the date of issue.

If your visa is issued on 01 March, it will expire on 30 May (90-Days from 01 March). This means that you have to enter Thailand no later than 30 May.

  • Example B: a multiple-entry Non-Immigrant visa has a validity period of 1 year from the date of issue.

If your visa is issued on 01 January, it will expire on 31 December. This means that you must enter Thailand within the 01 January to 31 December period.

You have to use the last entry of your visa by 31 December. Your visa is no longer valid after 31 December.
