The Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, in collaboration with the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand and the Embassy of Iceland in Tokyo, which is also accredited to Thailand, is organizing a photo contest under the theme “The 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand – Iceland: Friendship Beyond the Horizon.” The contest offers total cash prizes worth over 160,000 THB, along with many other exciting prizes.

On 8 January 2026, H.E. Ambassador Nitivadee Manitkul attended the Grand Travel Awards 2026 in Oslo, together with Mrs. Patsalin Swetarat, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in Stockholm, and Mr. Peerapatra Puspavesa, Counsellor of the Embassy.

On 4 December 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo organized merit-making ceremony to commemorate on the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand's Father Day 5 December 2025. The Buddhist monks from Wat Thai Norway and Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery paid a visit to the Embassy to conduct the ceremony.

On 21 November 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo organized a Commemorative Reception to mark the 120th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Norway. The event also served as a remembrance of the Royal Visits to Norway by His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (King Rama V) and the State Visit to Norway by Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The reception was held at the Oslo City Hall, Kingdom of Norway.

Diplomatic Corps and foreigners in Norway gave an honour to sign the book of condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo between 28-31 October 2025.
