On 6 May 2026, H.E. Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, was invited by SMB Norge to speak about Thailand on economic and trade perspectives with Norway to the Norwegian small and medium enterprises. Ambassador Nitivadee, at the beginning, gave a short overview of the cordial and long-lasting relationship between Thailand and Norway paved the way by the special bonds of the two Royal Families since 1905. Then, Ambassador Nitivadee addressed the economic opportunities between the two countries, both in terms of trade and investment.

 

After the event, Ambassador Nitivadee was requested to give an interview by answering unprepared questions.

 

In addition, the chefs of the Ambassador cooked some samples of Thai dishes, including Pad Thai, Pla Salmon, and sticky rice with Thai custard. Pla salmon is a specialty since it is the combination of Norwegian salmon and Thai tastes.
