On 5 February, 2028, H.E. Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand in Norway presented the Letter of Credence to become the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Iceland with residence in Oslo to H.E. Mrs. Halla Tómasdóttir, President of Iceland at the Official Residence of the President of Iceland in Reykjavik, Iceland.

 

On this occasion, President of Iceland congratulated Ambassador Nitivadee in her new capacity and also congratulated on the success of the signing of the Thailand and EFTA Free Trade Agreement. In addition, Ambassador Nitivadee informed the President that this agreement was crucial for our two countries amidst the current political and economic situation. Both also exchanged views on Geo-Politics and economic landscape. Last but not least, the President commended the Thai community in Iceland and expressed her favorite of Thai food.
