On 5 August 2024, H.E. Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, hosted a luncheon in honour of Ms. Thea Ottmann, Minister Counsellor, and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok, and Ms. Birgitte Elise Sylthe, Senior Advisor, Department of Regional Affairs, Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway. Mr. Monsak Jangariyawong, Minister Counsellor and Deputy Chief of mission also attended the luncheon.

 

Ambassador Nitivadee discussed the bilateral issues with representatives from the Royal Ministry of Foreign Minister of Norway to follow-up the issues of the discussion Ambassador had with the Norwegian Foreign Minister as well as bilateral cooperation on energy, trade and investment, and the Free Trade Agreement between Thailand and EFTA.

 

In addition, Ambassador Nitivadee and representatives from the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway also exchanged views on the current regional and global situations as well as the upcoming plans and activities of the Embassy to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Norway in 2025.
