On 1 July 2024, Her Excellency Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, attended the reception held by the Thai Airways to celebrate the inaugural flight of Thai Airways from Bangkok to Oslo.

 

The Thai Airways executives, including Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI Chairman of the Plan Administrators, Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron, THAI Plan Administrator, Mr. Chai Eamsiri, THAI Chief Executive Officer and members of board of the Thai Airways, attended the event. Furthermore, Avinor executives including Mr. Thorgeir Landevaag, CEO of Avinor, also presided over the event.

 

Ambassador Nitivadee delivered the remarks in the event, expressing her appreciation for the Flight Resumption of the Thai Airways in Oslo. Ambassador Nitivadee also mentioned that the Thai airways became the only one East and Southeast Asia airline directly flying to Norway and the only one Asian airline linking the two countries, which will certainly strengthen the economic, trade and tourism of Thailand and Norway.
