On 26 June, 2025, Ambassador Nitivadee Manitkul paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Sigrun Aasland, Minister of Research and Higher Education of Norway.

Ambassador Nitivadee informed to Madam Minister of the recent visit of the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj hospital, one of the world's leading medical institutes, and his team who came to Oslo to co-organize the Charity Walk & Run marking the Celebration of 120th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Norway. They also had a meeting with their counterparts at the University of Oslo. The discussion can reignite the existing cooperation between both institutes after nearly 10 years and help further cooperation in this field. Madam Minister shared the same views with Ambassador and encouraged more direct cooperation between the academic institutions. She and the Ministry are ready to reduce or eliminate the obstacles to cooperation. Madam Minister also praised the long-lasting and cordial relationship between the two countries.
Ambassador Nitivadee gave a medal from the Charity Walk &Run last Sunday as a souvenir.

The Minister of Higher Education and Research has been the 7th Ministerial level of Norway whom Ambassador Nitivadee met and discussed after she assumed her office in June last year.
