On 10 April 2026, Her Excellency Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, accompanied by the officials attended the unveiling of Replica of Phra Fang at the Museum of Cultural History in Oslo welcomed by Mrs. Aud V. Tonnessen, Director of the Museum of Cultural History as well as representatives of the Museum.
 
The event was also graced by the presence of Venerable Phra Rajvajirasasanavides, Abbot of Wat Thai Norway and President of the Union of Thai Sanghas in Europe, Ven. Tenzin Lodro, Representative of Most Venerable Gonsar Tulku Rinpoche, Director, Center for Higher Tibetan Studies, Switzerland, Venerable Phra Kongrit Ratanavanno, Chief Monk of Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery, as well as Buddhist monks from Thai temples in Norway. Moreover, the event was well coordinated by Mr. Siam Saenkhat, a Thai historian and his team.
 
On this occasion, in the remarks by Ambassador Nitivadee, she expressed her appreciation to the Museum for coordinating bringing the replica Phra Fang to Norway. Ambassador Nitivadee also highlighted the importance of Phra Fang, which is a revered Buddha image with a history spanning centuries, deeply tied to local legends and Buddhist devotion. Furthermore, the presence of the replica of Phra Fang also reflects the growing cultural bridge between Thailand and Norway.
 
Ambassador Nitivadee and Director of the Museum, along with the attendees, also had an opportunity to offer flowers and paid a respect to the replica of Phra Fang.
