On 4 March 2026, Ambassador Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, welcomed Mr. Wuttichart Kalyanamitra, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Transportation and his Committee delegation, who paid a visit to Norway. Ambassador Nitivadee gave a briefing on the overall picture of Norway as well as the relationship between Thailand and Norway in all dimensions, including the close and long friendship between the two Royal Families, the development of economic, trade and investment cooperation and the people-to-people contacts.

 

Ambassador Nitivadee also requested the Committee to help expedite the procedure of ratification in order to bring the Free Trade Agreement between Thailand and EFTA signed early 2025 effective as soon as possible.
