On 18 September 2022, Mr. Monsak Jangariyawong, Minister Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo, Miss Potchamas Saengthien, Counsellor, and Embassy’s officials attended Thai Fair in Moss 2022 at Prakas Puththadhum Forening or Wat Moss Santinivas Norway.  It was the first time that the Embassy jointly organized Thai Fair in Moss with Prakas Puththadhum Forening and the Thai community in Moss.  There were more than 300 Thais and their Norwegian families attended the event.

We hope you all enjoy this event which was particularly special by the performance of ‘Moradokmai’, a group of young and talented Thai artists under the guidance of Mr. Janaprakal Chandruang, 2019 Thai National Artist in the field of Performing arts (Film and drama).  The ‘Moradokmai’ group are currently on their European tour during August-October 2022 and were in Norway during 13-18 September 2022.

The Embassy would like to thank Prakas Puththadhum Forening and the Thai community in Moss and near by cities for the warm welcome and good cooperation extended to the Embassy.  We were very pleased to see the gathering of Thai community and their families to enjoy themselves and support the various Thai food and products.  In cooperation with other Thai communities and Thai associations throughout Norway, we hope to be able to organize Thai Fair in other cities in the future.  

The Embassy is scheduled to arrange the next Thai Fair in Narvik on 1 October 2022 at the Quality Hotel Grand Royal, Narvik.  Details will follow in the next posting.
