On 11 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, hosted a luncheon in honour of Mr. Mattis Raustøl, Deputy Director General of the Regional Department, together with officials from the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo.

 

Both sides discussed strengthening Thai–Norwegian ties on the occasion of the 120th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations, the latest developments in the Thailand–Cambodia situation, and ways to further expand economic cooperation — particularly through the early ratification of the Thailand–EFTA Free Trade Agreement.
