On 9 September 2023, H.E. Ms Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, along with Counsellor Bheraya Homkosol led a consular team from the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo to Kristiansand to provide a mobile consular service unit for Thai community in Kristiansand and other nearby cities in the south of Norway, Haugesund and Stavanger.

Consular services include Thai passport services, Thai ID cards and legalization as well as consular consultation on civic registration such as birth certificate, changing of marriage status and renunciation and return of Thai nationality.

It is gratifying for the Royal Thai Embassy to see a strong unity of the Thai community in Kristiansand and the Embassy remains committed to support the welfare of the Thai community to enhance their well-being in Norway.
